Modern Art of Concrete

With this series “Modern Art of concrete”, I want to highlight the hidden material par excellence of our cities: construction concrete. This raw material, which is usually unattractive and almost always covered over, seems to me to be very interesting to highlight because of the effects of matter, texture and form that it can create.

The simple geometric shapes and raw surfaces with their sharp, flat colours in this series of « paintings » can be seen as a free, contemporary interpretation of the Bauhaus style.
